Woodrose is a small kennel, now located in central Virginia after being in Maine for over 20 years.
My goal and passion, is to breed beautiful, healthy Cardigan Welsh Corgis with a stable, happy temperament.
 I've been involved in dogs since 1973, starting with Doberman Pinschers that I showed in breed and junior showmanship.
After taking some years off to have a family and career, but always having dogs, I got back seriously into showing and then breeding in 1992.
This time with Weimaraners. Having a young daughter coming to shows with me though,
 I needed to look for a smaller dog that would be easy and manageable for her. I found the perfect breed, Cardigans !!! 
 Now they have taken over my heart and my home. I still have two Weims ,
but they have definitely taken the backseat to these wonderful '' little'' dogs. My main interest is conformation showing,
 but we also dabble in agility, rally and herding. Breeding at most 2 litters a year, I don't have puppies available frequently ,
but I sometimes also have adults looking for a wonderful home. Please enjoy the beginnings of this website, and check back as more info is added !!
